American policy needs to be made based on the best interests of the people, not the interests of the military-industrial complex, the pharmaceutical or insurance industries, the oil or banking industries, or any other corporate lobby. It also needs to be made through a more deliberative process that weighs all the options equally and arrives at the best compromise or synthesis solutions.
My campaign is focused on beginning the steps to get corporate influence out of politics so that government will no longer be the tool of corporate lobbies, but will become the tool of the people, to help us finally achieve justice and liberty for all. Rather than being based on beautiful speeches or campaign rhetoric or even mere personal principle, this campaign is based on developing a concrete process that will increase the ability of the people in this district to participate in governmental decision-making at all levels of government, and hopefully inspire people in other districts to follow suit.
